Dr. Martens Christmas Windows

European Windows

Drawing upon the brand’s musical relevance, the Dr. Martens Christmas campaign for 2016 is based around the idea of a guitar lead forming the shape of a Christmas tree. To bring this concept to life we oversized and illuminated the lead using LEDs. This created a bright central focus which we surrounded with flight cases in festive colours to emulate gifts around the tree. We then hung large globe filament bulbs around the tree to invoke baubles, in-keeping with the brand’s industrial heritage and giving warmth and theatre to the display.

We rolled the concept out across Europe, delivering three windows in London, two in Paris, two in Amsterdam, and single windows in Stockholm, Edinburgh and Manchester. All windows opened on the same day for a simultaneous launch. Merry Christmas!
