Closed Sundays partnered with creative agency Gung Ho Studio on a major brand activation for New Balance and the build-up to the 2025 London Marathon. The campaign, titled “Groundworks” paid tribute to the commitment and resilience of the global running community in preparation for one of the world's most iconic races.
The London Marathon is part of the Abbott World Marathon Majors, a series of six elite marathons with global prestige and a million-pound prize purse. The installation was hosted at the London Community Running Track, which features a 200-seat grandstand named after Chris Brasher and John Disley—the original co-founders of the London Marathon.
Closed Sundays handled end-to-end event production services, managing all printed and branded assets. This included custom window graphics, event signage, flags, security banners, track stencils, product wall and LED neon signage. Our team oversaw both on-site installation and de-installation, ensuring smooth execution on the day.
This project highlights our expertise in large-scale sports event branding, experiential marketing, and branded environmental design—bringing creative concepts to life through thoughtful, high-impact production.
